So, students ordering transcripts from the University should confirm via their SIS account that their degree has been conferred before ordering a final transcript.  (2) 3Ls interested in applying to CA should also take action early in the fall term to get started on the required moral character determination because the moral character review process can take a minimum of six months to complete.

The VBBE application deadline occurs before degrees have been conferred, so an applicant is required to initially include a letter confirming the expectation that the applicant will earn a degree in the coming weeks. Therefore, applicants should submit a request to SRO for an initial letter. Click here to fill out the electronic request form. Students can ask for such a letter from the University Registrar’s Office (UREG), but students doing so will need to contact UREG in mid-June asking for a follow-up letter for the VBBE confirming the degree has actually been conferred.  Students who ask SRO for the initial letter will not need to request a follow-up confirmation letter to the VBBE because SRO will send one on behalf of those who asked SRO for an initial letter.
