University of Virginia Law School Foundation Privacy Statement

The Law School Foundation is committed to protecting alumni and donor privacy. Our policies and procedures prohibit trustees, employees, and agents of the Foundation from sharing any personal information with third parties except to the extent that the Foundation board, staff, and alumni volunteers require such information for Law School fundraising activities, for limited alumni-related purposes, such as a class or professional announcement, or to comply with the Policy on University-Related Foundations. We also comply with the University of Virginia’s policies and procedures to physically and electronically secure the information we collect from you through online forms or other submissions provided by you.

Your information will never be sold, leased, or assigned by the Foundation for purposes of marketing, advertising, or promotion. Personal information that you submit to the Foundation will only be used to process the transaction(s) you request, to create data for our internal use, and to contact you with Law School and alumni events and information. If you request to opt out of such communications, or of communications in certain formats, we will comply with such request.

We encourage you to review the complete Web Site Policies of the University of Virginia and the University of Virginia Information Technology Polices, which also govern this website, the Law School and the Law School Foundation.
