Lee Livingston is a partner at Livingston Law Group. He practices civil litigation, personal injury law, medical malpractice and defamation law. He served as president of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association from 2017-18. He was a State Bar Council representative for the 16th District and former chair of the Virginia State Bar Litigation Section Board of Governors and the Virginia State Bar Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board. He serves on the Supreme Court of Virginia’s Model Jury Instruction Committee and has served on the Virginia Supreme Court’s Appellate Rules Advisory Committee and Electronic Filing Study Committee. He is a member of the Boyd-Graves Conference and chairs its evidence committee. Livingston is co-author of “Evidence of the Trial Lawyer,” published by Matthew-Bender (Lexis) and VTLA. In 2019, Livingston won the Professor W. McKinley Smiley, Jr. Lighthouse Award from the Southern Trial Lawyer’s Association, presented annually to an outstanding lawyer for teaching and training and mentoring of lawyers.
