Marit Slaughter manages the operation of the Office of Private Practice and counsels students and alumni on a broad array of career choices with a focus on law firm positions. She works with students to evaluate practice areas, firms and legal markets, and helps students and alumni develop strategies to compete effectively for the positions they target. Lauren Parker

Lauren J. Parker

SENIOR DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF PRIVATE PRACTICE

Lauren Parker works with students and alumni interested in applying to law firm positions. With nearly eight years of experience litigating at a large firm, she helps students identify offices and practice areas of interest, and assists their preparation of effective resumes, cover letters and interview strategies. Stiteler

Lynn Stiteler

STUDENT CAREER SPECIALIST, OFFICE OF PRIVATE PRACTICE

Lynn Stiteler has 20 years of experience in the Office of Private Practice and is the main point of contact for all initial student inquiries. She works with students on arranging many of the logistics of their interviewing processes, connects students with counselors based on the nature of their inquiries, and fields and responds to inquiries from employers. Lynn also manages the school’s video and telephone interviewing rooms and plays a large role in the logistics of major office projects such as the On-Grounds Interviewing weeks, including the lead role in the Special Request process. Contact


Sherry Morris

Sherry Morris

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, OFFICE OF PRIVATE PRACTICE

Sherry Morris manages operational aspects of many of the Office’s major projects, including a central role in all of the school’s On-Grounds Interviewing weeks. She is a primary point of contact for firm and corporate employers and works closely with the firm outreach team. Sherry is also involved in much of the career-related reporting that is done by the school and manages the logistics associated with the Kennedy Fellowship Program. Sherry has over 15 years of experience in the Office of Private Practice. Contact


Emma Glancy

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF PRIVATE PRACTICE

Emma Glancy works closely with firm and corporate employers as they plan events and engage with students. Emma also assists students with aspects of their job search and related programming, and serves as the office’s primary point of contact for key vendors. 


Tapley Borucke

CAREER DEVELOPMENT FELLOW

As the inaugural Career Development Fellow, Tapley Borucke works closely with the Office of Private Practice, Public Service Center and Office of Judicial Clerkships on a range of student- and employer-related projects.
