UVA Law professor Richard M. Hynes analyzes the circumstances under which individuals file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In Chapter 11, the debtor maintains control of his or her business operations under the supervision of the court. Hynes gave the lecture to mark his appointment as the John Allan Love Professor of Law.
