Students faced new professors, new classes, and new dining choices at the Law School Wednesday, as they packed into the new Sidley Austin Brown & Wood Café looking for lunch.

The sky-lit space of Scott Commons measures 23 feet tall, by 26 feet wide, and 68 feet long, and features cherry-clad columns and pilasters, two large wall clocks—gift of the Class of 1998—and an oak floor. Students wait in the lunch line.
