A professor of law at the University of Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2), Marie Goré teaches the short course French Public and Private Law. She earned her doctorate in law in Paris in 1990 and is the author of The Administration of International Estates in Private International Law. She teaches at several law schools in Europe and China. Her specialties are private international law and comparative law, especially Asian legal culture. Goré is president of the Asian department of the French Comparative Law Society and of the Readers Society of the bilingual Henri Capitant Law Review. Fluent in English, she also studied Italian and Chinese.
