Mary Frances Charlton

Mary Frances Charlton is an attorney and the Affordable Care Act coordinator at the Legal Aid Justice Center. Charlton joined LAJC in 2013 after gaining labor, employment and public interest law experience while working full-time for the United Food and Commercial Workers Union during law school. She currently coordinates LAJC's work helping Virginians gain access to health coverage through the Affordable Care Act and is a supervising attorney with the Employment Law Clinic and the Health Law Clinic, which LAJC runs in conjunction with the Law School. Charlton holds a B.A. from Spring Hill College and a J.D. from American University's Washington College of Law.
